Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Connect2 app and services (the "App"), referred to here as "Virtup", "we", or "us". By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Full company details are at the end of these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. By using the App you confirm that you are.

2. What Connect2 is

Connect2 is a platform that lets users share their approximate location and connect with nearby people to offer or request informal services and to communicate. Virtup only provides the platform. We are not a party to any interaction, agreement, service, or transaction between users. We do not employ, endorse, verify, or vet users, and we do not guarantee the identity, conduct, safety, quality, legality, or reliability of any user or service.

3. Acceptable use & content

You are solely responsible for the content you post and your conduct. You agree not to use the App to:

• harass, threaten, defraud, stalk, or harm any person;
• post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
• offer or request anything illegal, or impersonate others;
• collect other users' data, spam, or interfere with the App's operation.

Zero tolerance: objectionable content and abusive behaviour are not permitted. You can report or block any user from within the App, and we may remove content and suspend or ban users who violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.

4. Donations

Donations are voluntary, support the developer, and are processed by Stripe. They grant no goods, services, or in-app benefits, and are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtup and its owners, officers, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, injury, or damages arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the App; (b) any interaction, meeting, or transaction with another user; or (c) the conduct or content of any user. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed EUR 50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Virtup harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party rights.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. The courts of Zagreb, Croatia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change and continued use means acceptance.
